PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce consumption of air-conditioning energy by taking the outer air into a room by an outer air introduction means without passing through an air conditioner when conditions for utilizing the outer air are satisfied and discharging the air from a stand path extending vertically in a building to the outside through an exhaust means utilizing draft force. SOLUTION: Outer air cooling operation mode is performed under a state where motor dampers 54, 62 and a smoke discharge window 80 are closed and motor dampers 34, 48 are opened. Outer air is introduced from an outer air shaft 42 by stopping a heat exchanger 40 and driving an outer air fan 66 and an air conditioning fan 58 and fed into an underfloor space 16 before chill is blown out an air outlet 48 into a room 10. Air in the room 10 is passed through an exhaust path from an air inlet 22 and exhausted partially by means of an exhaust fan 76 through an exhaust duct 32 and the remainder is returned back to an air conditioner 28 where it is mixed with fresh air being taken from an outer air duct 44 before being supplied to the underfloor space 16. According to the arrangement, power consumption can be saved.
