PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a device by a sheet metal work, and reduce costs. SOLUTION: An installing device 5 is constituted by fastening a cover 14 arranged on both end parts of a cylinder tube 11 with a plurality of tie bolts 15a, 15b, and is provided with an engaging part 31 formed by bending a metallic plate so as to engage with one tie bolt 15a, a barrel part 32 which continuously extends from the engaging part 31 to a position the other one tie bolt 15b, a connecting part 33 which continuously extends from the barrel part 32 and for connecting a sensor SR, and fixing part fixing the barrel part 32 to one tie bolt 15b. The barrel part 32 is provided with a hole part for fitting to the surface of a cylinder tube 11 by penetrating the sensor SR so as to be brought into contact the sensor SR with the surface of the cylinder tube 11, and a protecting part arranged so as to protect at least one part of an outer peripheral surface of the sensor SR.
