PURPOSE: A method of controlling a control bus at a digital television is provided to reduce a cost of the fabrication. CONSTITUTION: The method comprises steps of: storing an address data and one byte of code data(402); activating a chip enable signal line(403); providing a clock signal by outputting alternatively a high and a low signal through a clock line after a predetermined time(404); serially outputting address bits from one to nine stored at the data register according to the clock signal(405-407); serially transmitting the one byte of code data(409-411); performing a deactivation of the chip enable signal after transmitting the address data and the code data(414).
