PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid interruption of printing operation even when a cover is opened during printing operation by providing a mode that can continue printing operation even when the cover is opened in a image forming method equipped with a mode that allows an image forming displacement operation part to stop as the cover is opened. SOLUTION: An analysis part 25 includes in a built-in manner print-stopping means, i.e., a function that stops a displacement operation part (print operation) when the cover is opened and stopping function null means, i.e., a function that never stops the print-stopping means even when the cover is opened on the basis of a detection signal from a cover open sensor 27. A setting changeover switch 28 is operated by operation, and operates to continue printing operation without allowing the print-stopping means to operate even when the cover is opened in an ON state; on the contrary, it stops the printing operation when the cover is opened in an OFF state. As such, operation conditions of displacement operation part or the like can be seen during printing operation. |
