STRUCTURE OF FLOOR OPENING/CLOSING LID

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve appearance and walkability and to cope with different thicknesses of a lid plate by means of one kind of receiving part by preventing formation of a step between a portion covering the upper surface of a lid plate and a portion covering the opening side end of the upper surface of the floor. SOLUTION: A placement part 3 is provided on the inner peripheral part of an opening 2 in a floor 1. A side piece 6 covering the side face part of a lid plate 5 at the outer peripheral part of the lid plate 5 and a placement lateral piece 7 integrated with the side piece 6 and placed on the placement part 3 are provided to form a receiving part of an L-shaped cross section. The longitudinal piece of an edge frame 9 of a T-shaped cross section is laid on the placement lateral piece 7 and mounted in such a manner that its vertical mounting position is freely adjustable. Half of the upper lateral piece of the T-cross- section edge frame 9 on one side covers the end of the upper surface of the lid plate 5 and the upper end of the side piece 6. With the placement lateral piece 7 placed on the placement part 3 to close the opening 2, the other half of the upper lateral piece of the T-cross-section edge frame 9 on the other side covers the opening 2 side end of the upper surface of the floor 1.
