GRINDING ROLLER AND GRINDING RACE OF ROLLER MILL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance grinding capacity and the suppression of the vibration of a roller in a roller mill for finely grinding a solid raw material by a turntable and a tired-shaped roller. SOLUTION: In a roller mill equipped with a tire-shaped grinding roller 1', a grinding race 11' having the groove part opposed to the grinding roller and a turntable 2 having the grinding race carved therein on the circumferential side thereof and finely grinding a solid raw material, the grinding roller and the grinding race are formed so as to be connected as different curvature surfaces on the inflow and outflow sides of the solid raw material so as to hold the max. pressing point 30 of the grinding roller max. in the diameter of the surface to the groove part of the grinding roller and imparting the max. pressure to the grinding race and the gap 29 between the grinding surface of the grinding roller and that of the grinding race is expanded on the inflow side and the gap 31 between the grinding surface of the grinding roller and that of the grinding race is contracted on the outflow side. The max. pressing point is positioned so as to be made eccentric toward the center of the turntable from the cross-sectional center of the grinding roller.
