PURPOSE: A method for fixing an optic fiber used for optical amplifier using the embossing fixing sleeve miniaturizes an optical amplifier for amplifying a weak optic signal received from the optical line. CONSTITUTION: A method for fixing an optic fiber used for optical amplifier inserts a connection part between optic fibers(10,20) into a fixing sleeve of DA-shape or U-shape, fills the inside of the fixing sleeve with epoxy(40), hardens the epoxy with ultraviolet optical source, and achieves a fixing of the optic fiber. Thereby, the fixing sleeve(80) is not separated, a sleeve operation after connecting the optic fiber is possible, the entire size of the optical amplifier is reduced. |
