PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection mechanism for side ditch covers, which are easy to transport and mount/demount and light in weight instead of concrete side ditch covers conventionally and widely used, capable of preventing the covers from being removed out of a side ditch or blown off with wind pressure in spite of their lighter weight by connecting the adjacent side ditch covers via connecting members. SOLUTION: Adjacent covers 1 are both connectable and separatable via a connecting member 5. A lug 51 integrated with the connecting member 5 is located to be hidden from the upper face of the cover 1 if completely joined, or it is protruded from the upper face of the cover to easily identify the joint if incompletely joined or failing to be joined.
