PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an attracting and fixing method for large float structures that can restrain relative oscillation up to a condition that ends of both large float structures can be connected on a sea with severe marine meteorology, and a connection construction of the large float structure used in the method. SOLUTION: Constraint degree in attracting and fixing method for both large float structures 1a, 1b, in the attracting and fixing method and a connection construction, is gradually increased from compression force at contact surfaces 23, 24 of an oscillation motion around a recessed part 10/a projecting part 15, to oscillation damping function damping due to frictional force between the contact surfaces 23, 24 to constraint force provided by an air/hydraulic jack 25, to constraint force by a partial fixing of the contact surfaces 23, 24, and to constraint force by rigidity of a strong back. Thus, even for float structures 1a, 1b causing considerably large oscillation, their relative oscillation can be restrained up to a connection state.
