PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ventilator excellent in practicality which can exhibit ventilation capacity favorably without allowing a blocking member to hinder the flow of air within the inner hole of a ventilation tube. SOLUTION: In a ventilator which connects the inside o a room with the outside of the room and discharges the odor or heat within the room from the ventilation port 1 provided outdoors or ventilates it, the connection part for connecting the inside of the room with the outside of the room is provided with a ventilation tube 4, and the inwall of this ventilation tube 4 is provided with a shaft 18 as close as possible, and this shaft 18 is provided with a blocking member 3 to block the inner hole 32 of the connection tube 4 freely of blocking and not-blocking opening, and this blocking member 3 is constituted such that it is affixed to the inwall in not-blocking state.
