PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fireman's helmet capable of sufficiently raising a shock absorbing effect. SOLUTION: The front of the inside of a helmet main body is equipped with a shielding box 1 provided with a shock-resisting reinforcing support arm 2 projecting along the top of the inside of the helmet main body. A shielding plate 9 to be inserted between the front of the inside of the helmet main body and the shielding box 1 is attached to the front of the shielding box 1 and the shielding plate 9 is made liftable. A fitting band 18 for fixing a neck plate is attached to the rear of the inside of the helmet main body. A hammock 11 of the helmet main body for supporting the head of a user is attached to the shielding box 1 and the fitting band 18.
