PURPOSE: Phenylethanol amino tetraline carboxylic amide derivatives designated by Formula 1 or their pharmacologically allowable salts can be administrated orally or parenterally in the form of suitable medical composition in real treatments. The derivatives are used as medicine usefully because burden from the heart is reduced compared to conventional derivatives. CONSTITUTION: The present invention relates to Formula 1 having selective beta2-adrenaline receptor-stimulating property in which burden from the heart such as tachycardia is reduced. In Formula 1, A is low alkylene group, B is amino group, di-low alkyl amino group or cycloamino group of 3 to 7 atoms which may contain oxygen atom in ring, carbon atom labeled with * designates carbon atom of R configuration or S configuration or their mixture, and carbon atom labeled with (S) designates carbon atom of S configuration. The phenylethanol amino tetraline carboxylic amide derivative and its pharmacologically allowable salt are useful for prematurity-preventing agent, bronchus-extending agent, and stimulator for alleviating of pain or excreting of urolite in urolithiasis.
