PURPOSE: A liquid crystal display is provided to secure intensity of lower case to be not enlarge board portion. CONSTITUTION: The liquid crystal display comprises liquid crystal display panel for maintaining liquid crystal layer between a pair of upper and lower substrate, source of illumination disposed back face of the liquid crystal display panel, upper case made of metal, lower case made of grease, internal frame having aperture disposed between the liquid crystal display panel and the lower case and for passing light from the source of illumination. The liquid crystal display panel, the internal frame and the source of illumination are piled between the upper case and the lower case according to predetermined order.
