PURPOSE: A speech confirming method for a full electronic switching system confirms that the line between specific outgoing/incoming service subscribers is busy according to the list of that outgoing/incoming service subscribers speak by telephone with each other. CONSTITUTION: An operator position system(30, OPS) requires a full electronic switching system(20) of a list of that a plurality of outgoing/incoming service subscribers(10,..., 40,...) speak by telephone with each other. The switching system collects the list in response to the requirement and transmits to the OPS. Then, the OPS selects specific outgoing/incoming service subscribers(10, 40) and transmits a digit of the selected subscribers to the full electronic switching system. The full electronic switching system decodes the digit and connects the channel which the selected outgoing/incoming service subscribers use with the receive channel of the OPS according to the decoding result. Sequentially, the OPS confirms that the line between the selected outgoing/incoming service subscribers is busy through the connected channel. In addition, the speech path to which the channel which the selected outgoing/incoming service subscribers use and the receive channel of the OPS are connected is forcedly cut off by a timer so as not to listen to details of the speech continuously.
