PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the possibility of an adverse influence on man by decreasing the fine particles in fire extinguishing chemicals to the least possible extent within a range where a fire extinguishing capability is not decreased. SOLUTION: This fire extinguishing chemical consists of the chief agents and assistants of various kinds of the fire extinguishing chemicals. The particles of <=20μm in grain size in the total amt. are confined to be within a range of <=23 wt.%. As a result, the substantial degradation in a fire extinguishing function is not admitted and even more, the amt. of the fine powder particles below 20μm contained in the fire extinguishing chemical decreases drastically and eventually the adverse influence on man, such as the induction of an allergic symptom by the stimulation of the eyes, nose, throat and membrane of trachea to cough is lessened. Not only a contribution is made to an improvement in environmental hygiene but the coughing, etc. of operators during the fire extinguishing work are hardly admitted and, therefore, the improvement in the fire extinguishing work is anticipated as well.
