PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To manufacture a solid pattern embossing article on which printed patterns are embossed solidly on an oblique end of the article such as a memorandum or the like by using a simple press and also provide a manufacturing method thereof. SOLUTION: In the manufacture of a solid pattern embossing article, same patterns are printed on the surface of a plurality of papers 2, 2A and the upper end edge of a bundle of a plurality of papers on which printed patterns are printed is finish cut and then the upper end edge is pasted, and the upper end edge is clamped by a clamping tool and fixed, and the clamping tool is rotated to fold the upper end edge and the lower end edge of the paper bundle so that the given angle is set between them and the bundle is on a cutter 11 and the lower end edge is cut in the direction forming the given angle to the paper surface by a cutting blade 16A of the given shape of the cutter. The cut paper bundle is clamped by the clamping tool transferred to another cutter and the paper bundle is folded so that the upper end edge and the lower end edge of the paper bundle form an angle smaller than the given angle and set on the cutter 12, and the lower end edge of the paper bundle is cut in the direction of setting the given angle to the paper surface by another cutting blade 16B of another given shape of the cutter 12, by which the lower end edge is formed into an oblique face forming a recessed and projected face so that printed patterns are embossed on the lower end edge.
