PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize the empty space by mounting a press die, a laser beam machine, a hole inspecting part or the like, and a means for executing the function except for the punching function in a punching part on a machine base part to which one or both of an upstream work feeding space and a downstream work carrying-out space of the punching part are faced. SOLUTION: A punching device A comprises a machine base 1 using its upper surface as a horizontal reference plane 11, a work moving mechanism 2 mounted at a rear side of the machine base 1 and controllable in the X, Y axial directions, a clamper 3 communicated with the work moving mechanism 2, a punching part 5, and an inspection unit 6 formed by mounting a hole inspecting part as an execution means B on a replacement unit body 81 mounted on the machine base 1 facing to the downstream side of the punching part 5, that is, the work carrying-out space S1. The inspection unit 6, a laser beam machine unit and a press die unit as the execution means B except for the punching function, are replaceably mounted on the replacement unit body forming the machine base 1 part facing to the work feeding and carrying-out spaces S2, S1.
