<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for controlling a parison thickness for the purpose of shortening a profile forming time according to shortening of a calculating time in the case of forming the profile to control the parison thickness in a blow molding machine. SOLUTION: The method for controlling a parison 4 thickness comprises the steps of setting arbitrary master points (MP1 to MP6) at a time base, linearly interpolating the points therebetween, setting points of inflection to arbitrary R values (R1, R2, R3 and R4), circularly interpolating the values to produce a profile of the sample A, installing N pieces of photoelectric tubes 6 in an extrusion length direction of the parison 4, comparing the sample A with a position signal of the tube 6 shielded by the parison 4 to a sample A', and correcting the points (MP1 to MP6) in the case of recognizing a deviation between sample A and the sample A'.</p> |
