PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheelchair which is provided with casters in front and rear which drive force of the drive wheels is effectively applied when the front casters get over obstacles on the road, the body is stable so that the seat on which a user sits is not inclined to back and forth, and the user can easily get on/off the wheelchair using the foot step. SOLUTION: In a wheelchair in which a pair of right and left drive wheels 7 are provided with front casters 8 and rear casters 9, the front casters 8 and the drive wheels 7 are arranged so that they can swing up and down as one body integrally with chair components 2, 3, 4 centering on a swing fulcrum 30 between the axles of the front casters 8 and the drive wheels 7, the rear casters 9 are formed so that they can not swing up and down integrally with the chair components 2, 3, 4, and a foot step 6 is formed so that it can swing up and down together with the front casters 8 and the drive wheels 7 integrally with the chair components 2, 3, 4.
