PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a care lift for automobiles that allows a caring person to get a cared person on/off typical seats of typical sedans and vans with less force. SOLUTION: This care lift for automobiles is to easily move a cared person between a wheelchair and an automobile, and is composed of an arm holder and an arm. One end of the arm holder is fixed to the carrier on the roof of an automobile so that the arm holder can freely swing. The arm holder moves in a fan-shape so that the arm faces the door opening of the assistant driver's seat or the rear seat. The arm and arm holder has a dual pipe structure, and it is held by roller bearings to slide. The arm is provided with a motor driven lift device, which lifts a cared person off a wheelchair near the door of the assistant driver's seat or the rear seat, moves him/her toward the seat, then lifts him/her down on the seat.
