PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a dental treatment instrument have no strong stimulation on a tooth, reduce pains by touching, stably feed a drug, etc., and rub a tooth with strong force by forming the stem part and the touching part with a felt material having water absorbency and a specific MPa of bending elasticity in water absorption. SOLUTION: This dental treatment instrument 10 comprises a stem part 4 and a touching part 12 formed in the tip end direction. The stem part forms the trunk part of the instrument 10 and is integrally formed with the touching part 12. The instrument 10 is formed of a felt material with water absorbency and wet toughness. A felt material normally with 30-80% of saturation water absorbency at room temperature, 500-20000 MPa of wet bending elasticity, and 30-1000 MPa of maximum point bending stress is used. Thus absorbability and retainability of a drug are improved and the drug can be securely applied on an affected part and tightly applied.
