PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sufficiently remit adjustments during dioptometry using a small optical system. SOLUTION: A target 12 illuminated by a light source 22 is projected on a subject S via lenses 20, 19, a mirror 18, a lens 17, and a dichroic mirror 8 and is driven toward an optical path 03 and adjusted to match the diopter of the subject S. Wide visual field targets are presented to the subject S from optically apparently far positions, and the right and left wide visual field targets are both projected to the center of the visual field of the subject S. Since the subject S views not a blurred target but the clear target 21, the diopter is induced by fog and adjustments can be remitted.
