PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To take out toothpicks one by one by a simple structure. SOLUTION: On the outer side of a semicylindrical hopper 4 fixed to an outer box 1 with an opened upper part upwards, a semicylindrical turning body 7 is disposed freely turnably coaxially with the hopper with the opened upper part upwards. A discharge hole 5 capable of passing the toothpick T is provided on the bottom part of the hopper and a take-out hole 8 capable of passing through only one toothpick is provided on the bottom part of the turning body. A receiving plate 11 for preventing the falling of the toothpick is provided on the lower part of the take-out hole and a discharge plate for sliding down the toothpick falling from the receiving plate to the outside of the outer box is provided. Only one toothpick inside the hopper is dropped from the discharge hole to the take-out hole, and when the turning body is turned, the discharge hole is closed, the toothpick moves on the receiving plate, falls on the discharge plate and goes out of the outer box and thus, it is easily taken out.
