STRIP CASTING DEVICE

PURPOSE: A casting device of a metal strip by a continuous casting in a twin roll caster is provided. CONSTITUTION: The casting device comprises:a pair of horizontal casting rolls(16) formed a nip between; metal transfer devices(17,18,19) to transfer a melting metal between nips between the rolls; a pair of pull side plates(56); a pair of side plate holders(82) to support the side plates(56); a pair of thrusters(83) to operate toward horizontal; a roll drive device(41) to drive a casting roll toward a reverse rotation to get a metal strip(20).
