CACHE STRUCTURE ENABLING AN EXACT CACHE SENSITIVITY

PURPOSE: A device and a method are provided to schedule a thread in a multiple processor system by measuring a cache footprint of each thread for each processor. CONSTITUTION: The method for scheduling a thread on each processor in a computer system which has plural processors each having a correlation cache, the method comprises the steps of: a) measuring a cache footprint for each thread of each processor; and b) determining a flexibility for each thread of each processor by use of each cache footprint determined in the step (a), wherein an execution of each thread on each processor is performed according to the flexibility of each thread.
