PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically revise a notice method to reception of a message by a selective radio call receiver and to reduce current consumption, and to enhance the noise immunity or improve the capability. SOLUTION: In the case that a message reception notice by a notice section 8 and a detection section 9 is finished after the elapse of a prescribed preset time, a notice method decision section 6 or the like counts the number of times of making notices. In the case of making new notices, they are conducted by the notice method depending on number of times selected stored in those methods in a notice method storage section 5. When a recipient is unaware of the notice, that is, the message reception notice is automatically finished, the 2nd notice is made by changing a way of the notice such as a notice tone volume, a notice time, a notice pattern and a notice device. |
