SOLUTION: This new DNA has a base sequence represented by the formula or the like and originates from insect virus PSIV(plautia stali intestine virus) separated from Plautia stali and is capable of efficiently producing a protein from a protein gene located in the downstream in a host cell comprising an insect cell, etc., by taking the DNA into a plasmid. The DNA is obtained by finding a base sequence promoting translation activity from base sequences contained in the upstream of capsid protein gene derived from insect virus PSIV (Plantia stali intestine virus) and preparing DNA corresponding to the base sequence. |
