A device for locking the thread connection between the barrel (1) and the bolt action (2) of a bolt action rifle is provided by fitting the barrel (1) and the bolt action (2) with locking plates (5, 7) directed perpendicular to the central axis (6) of the barrel (1). The locking plate (7) fitted to the barrel (1) is rigidly connected to a housing (8) in which a compression spring (17) loaded locking bolt (11) may be axially displaced into and out from a hole (9) in the locking plate (5) fitted to the bolt action (2). |
