PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve freedom in design by hindering interference with other members along with a better appearance in a link mechanism to get a plurality of chairs simultaneously erected or leveled. SOLUTION: In a mechanism used to accomplish simultaneously erecting or leveling in synchronization of a plurality of housing type chairs C which each include front link elements 5 having the lower ends 5a thereof pivoted on a support member 3 so as to be rotatable longitudinally, rear link elements 6 which are disposed behind the front link elements 5 and have the lower ends 6a thereof pivoted on the support member 3 so as to be rotatable longitudinally, elbow members 7 pivotally connected to upper end parts 5b and 6b of the front and rear link elements 5 and 6 separately, a seat 8 supported on the front link elements 6 and a back 9 supported on the rear link elements 6, a link member 19 is provided for connection between front rims 5c of the respective front link elements 5 to enable synchronous operation of the respective front elements 5.
