<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the distance and exactness of a shot with a golf club. SOLUTION: This golf club head 1 has a hosel 11 and a wall portion 12 extending in a transverse direction from the hosel. The wall portion has a ball hitting surface 13 facing a front direction and a surface 14 facing a rear direction. The surface 14 facing the rear direction has a heel end adjacent to the hosel 11, a front end 21 parting from the hosel 11 and an intermediate part 22 therebetween. The intermediate part 22 has at least one projection which extends from the lower region of the surface 14 facing the rear direction and faces the rear direction.</p> |
