PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oral composition having improved astringency, good using feeling and high commercial value. SOLUTION: This oral composition containing a phytic acid compound is characterized by formulating a polyvinyl alcohol having 10-5,000 average polymerization degree and/or a polyvinylpyrrolidone having 10,000-2,000,000 weight average molecular weight and 5,000-500,000 number average molecular weight.
