PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clean without exerting a significant reverse-effect on an operation sequence, by providing a device, a member, a main body, and so on, each of which is set to the size of a form corresponding to a packaging material, so that they are moved through a packaging machine. SOLUTION: When a packaging machine once becomes empty, a cleaning main bodies 22 are led into the packaging machine in order to carry out cleaning. The cleaning method, in this case, is executed so as to use a plurality of cleaning steps for the purpose of cleaning the entire drying turret 19. In the action of filling it with the cleaning main bodies 22, in this case, four accommodating passages 20 for drying, which are adjacent to each other in the direction of a periphery, are filled entirely (three positions per passage). By the sliding movement of the cleaning bodies 22 compressed there, the accommodating passages 20 for drying are cleaned entirely lengthwise, that is, accommodating passage walls 29, 30, 31, and 32. Further, the sidewise guide walls of the drying turret 19 can also be cleaned by the end faces of the cleaning bodies 22.
