PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To satisfactorily restrain a vibration noise of a photoreceptor without complicating a production process and without generating any problem on disposal of the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: An organic photoconductive layer is layered on a cylindrical conductive substrate made of aluminium or its alloy, the cylindrical conductive substrate has spigot parts 3, and wall thickness excepting the part 3 are 1.9 mm or more, in a photoreceptor for electrophotography used as a charged body in an electrophotographic arrangement having the charged body and a charging member contacting with a surface of the charged body to charge the charged body by impressing a vibration voltage superposed with a direct current voltage and an alternating current voltage between the charged body and the charging member to form a vibration electric field.
