PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing device and method and an image forming device, capable of forming an image of high quality by preventing character dust, a color mixture and a density fluctuation, in such a manner that supplied toner is sufficiently stirred/mixed to rise to a fixed electric charge quantity, before development is attained and obtaining a stable image over a long period by reducing a deterioration in a developer. SOLUTION: In the developing device provided with a developing sleeve and plural developer stirring/carrying members, these plural stirring/carrying members are directed to the furthest part of the inwall of a developing unit main body, so that the direction of the velocity vector V1 in a rotational tangential direction at the top end position A1 in a vertical direction of the outer peripheral locus of a toner supplying side stirring screw 146 arranged in the furthest part from the developing sleeve 141 and the direction of the velocity vector V2 in the tangential direction of rotational at the top end position A2 in the vertical direction of the outer peripheral locus of a sleeve side stirring screw 147 arranged in the middle position between an image carrier 10 and the toner supplying side stirring screw 146, are opposite to a side facing the developing sleeve 141. |
