PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily load a page related to a computer file by selecting plural embedded links at least from one page displayed on a browser window and simultaneously processing these embedded links. SOLUTION: Browser software constructed in accordance with pack-aging displays a main browser window on a monitor 30. The main browser window includes the image of a page watching at present such as a user's home page and a page retrieved by using a search engine. The page includes text data, the contents of multimedia and plural hypertext links. Since many links can be selected in such a web page by a mouse 84, simultaneous processing can be applied to these selected links by opening an individual browser window in each selected link.
