PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the integrity of calibration protection by using a bracket for mounting which permits positioning about a base plate in order to calibrate an image sensor array against an optical system. SOLUTION: The distance between a bracket 140 and a base plate 142 is controlled at three places by means of the adjustment of pressing screws 164, 166 and 168 of a bracket position arrangement system. This offers the three degrees of freedom adjustment of a sensor array 134 as a whole. Especially, the screws 164 and 166 are used together in order to move the array 134 along a z-axis. The screws 164 and 166 are independently adjusted to rotate the image sensor array with respect to an x-axis or are reversely adjusted to each other. The screw 168 is used to adjust rotation with respect to the y-axis of the image sensor array. Further, a base plate position arrangement system that is provided with point pressing screws 170, 172 and 174 can adjust a base plate at the time of mounting on a carriage.
