PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a developing roller and a developing device capable of performing excellent developing processing. SOLUTION: A roller main body 532a is formed of roller base material principally composed of acrylonitrile butadiene rubber, a coating layer for preventing adhesion is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the main body 532a, so that the developer is prevented from adhering to the main body 532a. Especially, the friction coefficient of the layer 532b is within the range of >=0.5 and <=0.9 or the glossiness of the layer 532b is within the range of >=4.5 and <=8, so that none of negative ghost, positive ghost and surface fogging occurs. Even when it occurs, it is restrained to such a level that it does not matter in practical use. |
