PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the occurrence of an error by surely preventing entering of dust into a scan head, which reads information of a card. SOLUTION: This device is equipped with a loading mechanism 40 which is equipped with card feed rollers 52a and 52b for feeding a card 54, on which information is recorded and card carrier rollers 53a and 53b for carrying out the card 54, reading means 55 and 60 for reading the information recorded on the card 54 by way of an opening 72 of a scan head cover 50, and a dust entering prevention cover 56 which works with carry in/carry out of the card 54 and opens and closes the opening 72. Since the dust entering prevention cover 56 normally closes the opening 72, except when the card 54 is carried in, entering of the dust can be prevented. |
