PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a travel information based on the popularity of destinations by age and time period. SOLUTION: The travel plan assisting device 1 includes a terminal equipment 3 and an offering device 4. They can mutually exchange information. The database part 22 of the offering device 4 stores plural pieces of travel information indicating the destination and the adopted number of the respective pieces of travel information classified by age and time period. An operator inputs an areas where travelers want to travel and a designation period being one of the age or the time period desired by the traveller from the providing side input device 11 of the providing device 4. A providing side controller 23 selects at least one piece of travel information from the whole pieces of travel information indicating a certain destination in the area through the use of the adopted number corresponding to the designation period and displays it in the display device 17 of the terminal equipment 3.
