<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a common stored fare(SF) card from being illegally used for discounted transfer. SOLUTION: An automatic ticket examination machine installed on a certain station of a company's own line on which a transfer station to another company' s line exists is provided with a reader for reading out data recorded in a railway ticket inserted into the body of the machine and defining the station installing the machine body as an effective exit station and data recorded in an SF card used up to the railway section of the ticket, a railway section extraction means for extracting the railway section of the SF card used of the company's own line from the read data and a control means for subtracting the fare of the extracted section from the SF card and recording information indicating the inhibition of transfer discount to be applied to transfer to the outer company's line in the SF card.</p> |
