PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a hardware amount by making a mapping circuit have a function for setting mapping of a unit vector to the unit vector on texture coordinates and using this through processing both of texture mapping and movement compensation. SOLUTION: In a mapping circuit, a dt/dx circuit 24 is provided with a function for calculating mapping (du/dx, dv/dx) on texture coordinates corresponding to a unit vector in an (x)-axis direction on screen coordinates. A dt/dy circuit 25 is provided with a function for calculating mapping (du/dy, dv/dy) on the texture coordinates corresponding to the unit vector in a (y)-axis direction on the screen coordinates. A coordinate adder 26 is provided with a function for adding the (du/dx, dv/dx) to an initial value when the (x) coordinate is changed, for the change of the screen coordinates and a function for adding the (du/dy, dv/dy) to an initial value when the (y) coordinate is changed. |
