PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To impart the best waterproofness between a connector and a cable, and to maintain the mechanical connection between parts over a long period by providing a fitting part covering the rear end drawing part outer periphery of an outer sleeve and having a conical hole in the shaft direction. SOLUTION: The outside of the rear end drawing part of an outer sleeve 24 of a connector 20 for a coaxial cable is covered with a single fitting part, and a conical hole is arranged in the shaft direction in this fitting part. A columnar hole having the proper length is continuously connected to the rear stage of this conical hole, the outer sleeve 24 and the fitting part are joined by applying force inward to the fitting part by using a special tool, and the rear end drawing part of the outer sleeve 24 is formed in a conical columnar shape to be tightly meshed with the skin 18 to hold waterproofness, facility of assembling and the mechanical connection between parts. The fitting part can be manufactured in various colors according to a difference in a cable standard to thereby discriminate a standard of a cable.
