PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of an electron tube which has a a long service life and is difficult to leak. SOLUTION: A glass tube 15 is evacuated with an electrode assembly 10a inserted therein from an end thereof. The glass tube 15 is sealed at its one by heating the circumference of a glass member 12 of the electrode assembly 10a from the outside by an electric heater 5a and melting the glass tube 15 and the glass member 12.
