PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor controller and a motor control method thereof, capable of reducing the frequency of forced interruption of power supply to a motor. SOLUTION: If the rotational speed of a motor does not reach the first comparative rotational speed Fref1 even after time T5 elapses since the continuity angle of the motor was set at 0 deg. at the time of starting the motor and power supply to the motor was maximized, a microcomputer determines whether or not the rotational frequency of the motor is lower than the second comparative rotational frequency Fref2 which is set lower than the first comparative rotational speed Fref1. If the rotational speed of the motor is less than the second comparative rotational speed Fref2, energizing the motor stops until time T6 elapses and the continuity angle is then reset to 0 deg. to supply the maximum power to the motor again. If the rotational speed of the motor does not reach the first comparative rotational speed Fref1 even after time T7 has elapsed since the re-supply of maximum power to the motor started, energizing the motor is completed forcibly. It is thus possible to reduce the frequency of forced completion of power supply to the motor. |
