PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably control the output voltage without using a capacitor of a larger capacity, even if there are sharp changes in the impedance of a load. SOLUTION: This power supply equipment is constituted of a switching element 4 which is input with DC voltage of a specified range and opens/closes at a specified frequency and a duty ratio, a DC/DC converter which smoothes (5, 6, 7) the output from the switching element 4 and obtains DC, and a controller 1 which detects the output voltage of the converter and controls the frequency and duty of the switching element 4 to control the output voltage of the converter to a specified value. The controller 1 is provided with a means 12 for detecting a notice signal for notifying rapid changes in the impedance of a load driven from the output of the converter and control circuits (21-24), which is input with the notice signal and controls the change in the output voltage caused by the rapid changes in the impedance of the load.
