<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To synchronize times of all base stations with the absolute time with an inexpensive configuration. SOLUTION: The time synchronization method synchronizes times of plurality of base stations 2, 3 in a CDMA system with the time of a base station controller 1 that controls each base station. Only the base station controller 1 is provided with a GPS receiver 11 that receives a signal from a GPS satellite and generates a reference time based on the received signal, and the reference time generated by the GPS receiver is used for the time of the base station controller 1, the base station controller 1 generates time reference information based on this time and sends the information to the base stations 2, 3, and each of the base stations 2, 3 synchronizes a time of its own station with the time of the base station controller 1 based on the received time reference information.</p> |
