PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semi-rigid type coaxial cable in which the rigidity on the surface of a porous insulating layer is increased, a sound metal plating outer conductor layer is formed on the surface of the porous insulating layer, and terminal workability is excellent, and provide its working method. SOLUTION: An insulator core C is made by forming a porous PTFE insulating layer 3 in which crystallinity on the surface is adjusted to 75-92% and porosity of the whole insulating layer is adjusted to 5-30% in the outer circumference of a center conductor 2, and an electroless plating anchor metal layer 4a and an electroplating metal layer 4b are formed in order as an outer metal conductor layer 4 in the outer circumference of the insulator core C to form a semi-rigid type coaxial cable 1. |
