PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate an alarm if a channel newly set approaches too close to the channel of another operating radio equipment by performing subtraction between the tuning frequency of a channel and that of another channel and comparing the result of this subtraction with the proximity critical value when the channel tuning frequency is designated and inputted. SOLUTION: A desired channel to be tuned is selected via an operation display 7 and the desired frequency to be tuned is inputted. A controller 6 decides with calculation whether the frequency of the channel inputted to the display 7 is set apart from the frequency of another working channel by a prescribed space, e.g. 3 MHz or more. If the former frequency is apart from the latter one by 3 MHz or more, the frequency data are outputted to a driver 5. The driver 5 drives a motor based on the received frequency data and secures tuning of a filter 1. If a prescribed space is not set between both frequencies, the controller 6 outputs an alarm signal to the display 7 and does not output the new frequency data to the driver 5. Thus, the filter 1 is not tuned.
