<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide data processor that enhances the convenience of various functions and application programs by making the various functions or application program(AP) candidates displayed into icon on the display screen in relation to the described contents of received data. SOLUTION: In the case of displaying received electronic mail on a display means, a CPU retrieves a previously stored keyword from the contents of the received mail, further determines the AP related to the retrieved keyword while referring to an application table 163, acquires the icon display information of the determined application from an icon table 164 and displays it on the display means. By selecting the displayed icon, the application for processing the received mail can be selected.</p> |
