The handling equipment is used to load, compress and unload tyres carried as a load on a vehicle. It uses two primary parallel chains (28,31) guided by pinions (26,29,27,30) and two secondary parallel chains (45,48) carried by auxiliary pinions (44,46,47,49). The pinions are carried by side walls (3) of a platform (5) , and a base (6) is provided that can be displaced with a parallel action between extremities of the cage that carries the tyres.
